My Friend Karen

I love fibre and most things related to fibre. 2 years ago I dabbled in knitting and did really like to shop for pretty yarn. Then I was introduced to spinning and the ladies that meet at the Bradley Centre in Coombs. And my mind was forever opened to this world of fibre. The talent and generosity of these amazing women blesses me every time I am with them.
Please let me introduce you to Karen, my friend and one of my mentors in this wonderful world. Karen loves her cats and her chickens and she loves her fibre. She is a spinner, a weaver,  a knitter, and so much more. Karen loves her knitting machine and makes amazing things on it. Way too much math for me! I was able to follow Karen around one day and photograph her so here is peek into her world, and through our connection a peek into mine.  NJT
